Job Description
1. Job Role Overview
- A QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, identify automation opportunities, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across all aspects of the application lifecycle.
- The ideal candidate possesses expertise in programming languages, testing tools, and frameworks, enabling them to create robust automated test cases that identify bugs early in the development process.
2. Key Responsibilities
- As a QA Automation Engineer, you will focus on creating and executing automated scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify testing requirements, establish automation processes, and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- This role also requires analyzing test results, reporting defects, and collaborating with the team to resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to customers. Additionally, staying up-to-date with the latest automation tools and technologies will be essential to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of testing practices.
3. Skills and Qualifications
- Candidates for this role should have a strong foundation in programming languages like Python, Java, or C#, along with experience in testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
- Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured and familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter are highly desirable. A solid understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is critical.

Education + Experience
- Job entails working with and requires Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information technology or equivalent degree with 5 years of experience including:Mobile/Web Applications Testing, Software Design Patterns, REST Web Services, SDLC Methodologies.
